General Information

Journal of Water and Wastewater Science and Technology (JWWSE) is an open access, peer-reviewed, quarterly journal, published by Iran Water and Wastewater Association (IWWA), that aims to build a bridge between the water and wastewater industry and universities. To fulfill this aim, JWWSE publishes research articles, review papers, case reports, editorial letters, technical notes, discussions, closure, book review, and errata on issues that are related to water and wastewater treatment. Accordingly, distinguished researchers, academic professors, industry experts, etc. are cordially welcomed to contribute their knowledge and experience.

Journal Policy

• There is a 1/000/000 rials non-refundable fee for the review process. Upon acceptance, authors are required to pay 1/500/000 rials for the publication process.
• JWWSE supports the open-access journal policy, so the full text of all the articles and reviews are free to access immediately from the date of publication.
• In terms of review, the policy of JWWSE is to review all submitted articles in a double-blind method. It means neither authors nor reviewers know each other’s identities so that each manuscript would be reviewed fairly and independently.
• Papers submitted to JWWSE will be screened for plagiarism using the Hamyab plagiarism detection tool. JWWSE immediately rejects papers leading to plagiarism or self-plagiarism.
• The ownership of JWWSE belongs to Iran Water and Wastewater Association.
• Financial support of JWWSE is provided by Iran Water and Wastewater Association.

JWWSE believes in the Ethical codes of COPE and respects publication ethics.
